went on this trip 3 years ago I call it the World's Longest and hottest YS.. it was tremendous fun and the goodies were wonderful... of course, I now think about the things I did not buy..
wow I can not believe you found that! And the fact that you already had all those beautiful dyes! I'd LOVE to go to this gigantic event one year....but I'd want to take a uhaul. I've been reading through all the wonderful posts about all your great finds! Looks like you girls had a great time!
How great is that...you found the display to go with the dye. I live about 15 minutes from the Lookout Mtn. parkway in Georgia and go every year. I have found amazing things. This year, I set up on top of Lookout Mountain and sold a whole bunch of stuff. Its amazing what people will buy!!!
Thanks for checking up on "the project"! I love to hear from my readers and if you've been to the WLYS be sure to let me know. If you've provided an email link in your blogger account, you will be hearing back from me! xo, Suzy

You've just stumbled upon my blog about the 2010 World's Longest Yard Sale. It's all about my plans, scheming, list making and finally trekking to the "World's Longest Yard Sale". I am telling my husband that I need to make this trip and spend lots of money because this is how I want to celebrate my 50th birthday.
That was a totally cool purchase! LOVE IT. love it even more that you have vintage Rit dye to display in it! Great find - congrats.
ReplyDeleteI have to agree with Ethel - LOVE IT!
